When we were trying to figure out the best way to bring it all together, we had this idea…what if we killed all the heroes, and they came back as Death Knights? The timing for this story fit perfectly with our new plan to do full 135 card expansions along free single play missions. We’ve wanted to do something involving the Lich King, and Death Knights, for quite some time.
